That's not going to happen though, seriously.

Granted, I doubt the pre-ipl will be hacked on the new motherboards.
So I doubt wee will ever see a fully flashed cfw for 2000 v3, 3000, or Go!

But it is likely that someone will eventually find and share a kernel mode exploit.

When that happens, I'm sure GEN or someone else will be shortly behind with some form of HEN, and maybe eventually one of those HEN mode cfw for 2000v3, 3000 and Go!.

And of course a full on cfw for 1000 and pre TA-088 v3 PSP 2000.

Sure homebrew would have to be re-written for the 6.XX kernel, but that would give devs something to do, and thus regenerate interest and activity in the scene   Yay

The pre-ipl was never hacked, KIRK had a flaw in it. KIRK would only check if the IPL was sighed. Sony fixed this in newer hardware. KIRK now checks that the IPL is sighed and has the right check sum.

Newer cfw's use a custom IPL which loaded some PRX's before the VSH. Back in the day CFW did not need to flash an IPL and I think with a bit of work a CFW for PSP's that can not have an IPL flashed could be done.

So... having a dump of the pre-ipl from a 3000 or Go! will not help one little bit and hacking it is next to imposable. Hacking the 3000 or Go will need to be done the "old" way as nothing can be changed in the IPL.
