New monitor setup
Okay so i have 'inherited' a very nice CRT monitor for my desktop.
I currently have a 20" HP flatscreen, which i have connected to an A/B switchbox, with my 360 as one input and the desktop pc as the other.

My desk isn't huge so I'm thinking whether to mount my flatscreen on the wall, and have the CRT on the desk, but i don't know how to wire in the new CRT using my A/B box.

If that actually makes sense to anyone, are there any suggestions/ideas?

huh?
Thinking now of mountain the LCD on a jointed wall mount, hooking that up with the A/B switch and inputs being PC/360, then CRT just standalone.

RE: New monitor setup
Right. Will the LCD take a VESA mount? If it does it should just be a case of buying a standard monitor arm and screwing it onto the back. As for the wall I'm not the best at DIY but I've done a bit. What's the wall made of? Is it drywall plasterboard, brick/block or stone?

As for the connections side of things I'd use the CRT as your primary monitor seeing as it's on the desk and in your line of sight. Plug that into the first port on your graphics card. Have the wall mounted lcd plugged into the switch box with that connected between the 360 and the second monitor port on your computer.

This assumes that you have a graphics card with 2 ports on your computer. If you don't then you need to get hold of a new graphics card.
