I don't trust $ONY's intentions.  Especially when they try to get me to install a new firmware, that has a vague description.

I don't either, but I have to, to play online.
Even if you could play back ups, the size would be insane.

i don't really care about PS3 updates. i just install them and go along my way.

ps3 updates aren't the ones i look forward to, it's the play TV ones that are nice =]
