Streaming usually gives bad quality. But then, it comes in handy when on other people's computers and at school where installing codecs, and all that aren't all that easy.

Of course screen ain't an issue. However, the thing is that at my school, electronics aren't allowed for various reasons so you can only get in by sneaking it in, (trust me, it's hard. It's like airport scanning every morning) or going on a trip for the day..

My new habit is to watch the first 2-3 episodes online. If I like the series, then I download it.

True.. but I find this method very effective... I really don't mind watching two episodes in low quality. At least I know that what I'm downloading is worth it.

I used to archive a lot. I had about 110GB or so of anime, but I could not recover a majority of it after a crash... never got about to that point again.

I use to stream, but now I just download, takes a matter of seconds, and i just liek having it on my hard drive with my prefered media player.
