RE: Sepia [fake] HDR Rocky Beach Wallpaper!!!
looks like the photo came from mars (or someother planet XD)

Maybe it's because it's a Jpeg??
no.. i don't think its that...
* boogschd sees grainy areas
maybe the filters you used?
or the stock photo wasn't that good in terms of quality
but good job nonetheless

MehHakker Wrote:I think that it's the filters, I took the photo with my dSLR :P
What model dSLR you have??? I WANT PHOTO CONTEST NAO!
And real HDR > Fake HDR/
For faking HDR you can shoot one raw and make it into 3 TIFFs and adjust the exposure in each then use photomatix to turn it into HDR>
2nd vesion has less of a dynamic range.
And I want to see your shot settings. like f/number, shutterspeed, ISO
Pweese?
Photobattle?
Oh and also I am assuming you shot in JPEG./ And you used 1 image for a fake HDR so be adjusting the levels on the jpeg and making 3 different exposures you made it posterized and that is also what makes it look more low quality. . . prolly the main reason actually.
Also some people like me like to see some nice grain in some photos (in others it looks like spoon) and IMO the grain here because it's sepia doesn't have milti-colored spoon on it so it looks like fine grain of a Film camera using a high ISO film. . . Nice effect. . .I like the grainyness in the first image. . ..
