Vampire Knight fans will be happy about this one:

The 13th and final episode of the first season will run next week in Japan. A Vampire Knight: Cross Academy Broadcasting Club web radio show will also premiere on July 7. On the radio show, voice actors Mamoru Miyano, Daisuke Kishio, Susumu Chiba, Junichi Suwabe, and Sōichiro Hoshi will play their fictional counterparts Zero Kiryū, Kaname Clan, Takuma Ichijō, Akatsuki Kain, and Senri Shiki, respectively.

The anime adapts Matsuri Hino's original manga about Cross Academy, a school where the student body is divided into the "regular" Day Class and the "elite" Night Class. Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster, is one of the few people in the entire school who knows that the Night Class students are vampires. Viz Media has been publishing the manga in North America since last year, and the anime premiered on TV Tokyo on April 7.

I thought VK was going to be 26 episodes. (wiki said it'll be 26, rather than 13).

So it seems it'll probably be 13 + 13 more for season 2. Makes little difference whichever way.

i just recently started watching this show after my sister borrowed me a few vol's of the manga.. i quite like it, then again I'm a big vampire fan anyways :)
