Well done, I've never managed a gameboot. <mini rant>Stream converter just says something along the lines of "Invalid file" even though I've followed all the instructions!Burning</mini rant>

well, to be honest i modified the method used in the most common tutorials. i only use winmenc for the audio.

i use virtual dub to make a segmented avi of the clip i want and save it in both audio and no-audio modes. then i use winmenc to make an MP3 and convert the MP3 to WAV using TotalRecorder.

then i pop my no-audio AVI from virtual dub and my WAV from TotalRecorder into UMB Stream Composer and TADA! homemade gameboot.
