Bricked. Fix possible?
Well, today I flashed myself a custom theme.
Liquid PSP or something like that.

Decided to go back to defaults, so I flashed these files back on:

FONT\
     ltn0.pgf
     gb3s1518.bwfon

VSH\
     resource\
          numerous files
     nodule\
vsh.prx (deleted, as I don't think its in the default install.  Is this where i went terribly wrong? )

KN\
pspbtcnf.txt (or did i screw up replacing this with the default one?)

Anyways, the PSP will not start or do anything at all after replacing them.
No memory stick light, no back light, nothing.
After about 5 seconds, it turns itself back off as well.
No recovery mode either.

RE: Bricked.
If you can't reach Recovery Mode then your PSP is dead.

Sorry about that.

RE: Bricked. Fix possible?
That's what I thought.
No need to be sorry though, no worries.

Now I just hope I can find one I can downgrade,
as I'd be quite screwed if I couldn't, not owning any actual PSP games.
(Except Gretzky, but that gets boring really fast.)

And I'm using 3.40 OE.

Next PSP though, for sure, I think I'm going to stick to the default theme. :mdr:

RE: Bricked.
Well, I believe all the folders you mentioned can actually be totally deleted without causing a total brick, so IDK what happened...

RE: Bricked.
That's what I thought as well.  So I don't know what's going on.
Oh well, new one I should be receiving tomorrow.
Already behind the counter waiting for me.
Should be an older one, as it's only running version 2.60, but it's really hard to tell over the phone.
My friend got one at the same place not too long ago, and it was 2.60 as well.
And one of the old boards.  AKA not 082-086.
Not that those are really a problem anymore, are they?
I've heard some good, and some bad about them.
