[PSP] Goear PSP 2.0 Released
[Image: iwr812.png]

Goear PSP is an application designed for the search, download, play music from the site goear.com

Version 2.0 Features
- Support multi languages improved. Now there's no limit, just copied to a folder and are ready to use
- Support for skins. If you want you can customize your homebrew with your own skin, completely flexible when creating it.
- Preview of the songs. Before downloading sometimes wee hear a little bit, now that's possible.
- Download list. Download songs one at a time was boring, now wee add to a list and subsequently downloaded (also supports download unit)
- Updater. This feature is important because if you change some parameter goear enough to schedule a small update and users to download from the homebrew.
- Added a main menu, options and more.
- Added a local music player, to test the songs wee've downloaded.
- Setting near-total, as each time the homebrew starts, display a copyright message or advise if there is new updates.

SPOILER FOR HOW TO USE GOEAR for PSP:
Spoiler:
1) obviously this requires wireless internet..

2) In the main menu always use the "Update Homebrew" option before you start using the program, to see if a new version is available.  goear.com apparently makes frequent changes to their site, therefore this program requires a lot of updates.  So many times you may need to update before it will work properly.

3) In the main menu, select "Start"

4) Press "O" to bring up the on screen keyboard (OSK), and type in a song or artist

5) Press start until until the OSK closes,to bring up the results list

6) Press "L" and "R" buttons in results list, to change through the pages

7) You can highlight any song and press "X" to hear a preview of it without having to actually download it    ;)

8) When you want to download a song highlight it, and press "Square" on the PSP

9) The OSK will pop up again, this is where you give the .mp3 a name (It is auto filled already, so unless you want to change it, your all set there)  Press start to begin the download

10) The songs will be downloaded to the PSP/MUSIC/ directory, so you can immediately listen to them in the XMB, after you exit the program  Madwin

Yeah.  For now anyway.  Although if yoshihiro decides to continue updating GEN, then I may go back   :)

I actually posted an entire list of reasons that I ended up going back to M33 here:

Really?  Its working great for me.  The GUI isn't very descriptive in this program.
Here are some tips on using it:

Hope that help people  Yay
EDIT: added these instructions in a spoiler, in the first post for everybody who only reads the first post in a thread  :p
