New Update Time!

FFDP WERE INSANE!!!!!! INSANE!!!! Shame the crowd wasn't, but ill get to that

Got there quite early, very near the front of the Queue, and ended up right near the front. First win right there. Was an epic place to be, and dsince i had no money so couldnt get drinks i didnt leave my spot bar a few exceptions, and made it back when i did

First Band on were called Magnacult. they started off loud but uninteresting, but really kicked off, and, despite only doing 4 songs, were brilliant as a warm up act. What i thought was going to be a "look at me i can scream" turned into something truly brilliant, both musically and showmanly. They were a very active band, but you could see that it wasn't pulling the crowd, and they went off stage after a great little set to an underwhelming reception unfortunately

The next band on were called Rise to Remain, and were amazing. I can't talk these guys up enough, theyre a 5 man band from London and they absolutely rock. If your into the 2 headline bands and ever get the chance to see these guys, do so, its completely worth it. Another band that were really energetic on stage, and that the crowd gave a lukewarm reception to, which disapointed me, since i'd go far enough to say that although not the best, they were the band that most impressed me

Shadows fall preceeded Five Finger, and completely ruled the place. The guy had dreads donw to his knees, and was really using them in his performance, as well as using the security as an extension of the stage, and even crowd surfing at one point!!!! Despite a Stellar performance, and i mean genuinely out of this world, the crowd once again greeted them with boredom. When he got everyone involved it was brilliant, but when he didnt no one bothered

FFDP were far and away the best act of the night though. For one thing, most of the crowd were there to see them, and it was the only time the crowd picked up was for there set, which i suppose is better than nothing.Got Crushed so many on the front row, got to crowd surf on my way back from the pit from White Knuckles, and got to shake hands with Ivan because he was shaking hands with everyone who made it to the front :D

Overall, kickass, and one Left now, the best of the Lot, Sonata Arctica themselves!!!
