Fade out ending VS "proper" ending
You've probably heard a few songs where they end it by repeating some theme and fading it out rather than actually ending the tune.
I somewhat don't really like them (does anyone prefer fade out type endings?) and I sometimes wonder why they don't just put a proper ending to the tune rather than fade out the music - I mean, it's not that difficult to do really...

What do you think?

lol.

I'd say that's true in my case, when it comes to composing.

I'm gay.

RE: Fade out ending VS "proper" ending
...which is kinda weird - they thought of a whole song and they can't put an ending.  And it's really not that difficult either (just shove in a perfect cadence - there's already usually one at the end of choruses/themes, so you could even just embellish one a bit more).

RE: Fade out ending VS "proper" ending
well, for half of my songs I have a 'proper' ending, I guess.

but the rest, I guess I got lazy, lol.
