Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

So i have an acer aspire one with 1.5 gigs of ram, 6 cell battery, 160 gb harddrive that i want to sell for 460 so i can buy a hp tx1000 off a guy for 500$

and basically; i don't know if its worth it, so i thought that i would ask someone tech savvy for their opinion (but so far; its a tablet pc with more ram and a better video card but the same harddrive space and a worser battery, and i also don't want to keep the aspire because its falling pretty far behind now with these new netbooks coming out.........)

i would say sell it, if battery life really matters to you, you could always buy one of their high charge batterys. Im getting one next week :)

hey, I'm using one right now. not mine though, a friends. He's sick of how slow vista is so I've tweaked it and added a few 'personal touches'.

anyways, tables pc's are awesome, unless you're in an emergency situation and that's the only thing that you have to type up a 2000 wird essay. I've had to do that in the past and believe me, tapping in 200 words with a pen, or writing them takes fudgeing ages and it will be full of mistakes no matter how careful you are. Its a good idea to keep one of those roll up keyboards handy. other than that they're great fun to use. HP make some quality stuff as well.

the other guy crapped out, so i don't know if this is worth it or not.....

More Hdd, more ram, cam/microphone, good sized screen, card reader, ect ect ect

and considering the fact i also payed 500$ for the acer, and now i have to add 175 which knocks it up to 675$$ altogether for a lappy.

mines was only 300 upgraded on my own to 3gb and 320gb hdd for about $100

well i used my haggling skillz and i got the price down to 120$ plus the aspire one, does anyone think its a good idea to go through with this?
