Well wee tried everything and it seems the RAM and CPU are ok, all drivers are up to date and wee also tried every possible RAM combination. The PC was still Bluescreening every now and then with a STOP error.

I also noticed something strange, I played a few rounds of Colin McRae DIRT for testing, the game ran smooth but every 15secs or so the game literally slowed down for 2 secs. My friend now wants to give the Mobo back and get a different one.

Anyone has an idea for the strange slowdowns?
