Moving submenu text in 3.95 with topmenu_plugin.rco please help
Hi, I was inspired to try theme creation/modification. A theme inspired me to initially use the original icon positions and put new graphics to it. Then this grew, I wanted it to be compaitible with 3.95. This is my first conversion/creation. I am stuck, and hope I can articulate this well. If anyone can at least point me somewhere to read I'd be greatful.
When using the topmenu_plugin.rco from the 3.90 counterpart Network Update was assigned to Reboot and LFTV assigned to Network Update. I think the topmenu_plugin.rco is compressed, I'm having difficulty finding something to work with it so, in rcoeditor it shows nothing intelligible to me, but a fresh 3.95 looks OK. The reason I am asking is I got the reboot to work but I struggle with getting Network Update assigned to LFTV.
My options became:
1. Redo topmenu_plugin.rco from scratch and leave LFTV alone and allow Network Update to remain under the settings menu, however:
I've done this but where the secondary text is (network settings under system, internet browser, internet radio under network) I need to move it to the right and down a bit. I have been able to move all including the icons simultaneously but I just want to move submenu text, or get network update to work on the LFTV position. Ideally, learning both would be great.
2. Eventually find the answer via trial and error, research, or ask somewhere.....
I'm trying to ask. Any help would be appreciated, at least point me in a good direction please.
3. There's always three.........
Thanks.

Thanks I'll try that route, I only assumed the RCO to be the cause because the icons and text became displaced when I removed the topmenu_plugin.rco when I replaced it everything moved back where it was. I should've thought about attempting to compensate in vshmain.prx. Thank you

if you are looking in the topmenu_plugin and don't see text but in the xmb there is text, tis probably because they added blank space above the text label to move it down.

Thanks to both of you. There's a lot to learn and remember, hopefully I will stick to it and not be half-arsed. After Matchung's suggestion I came across some threads with reference to "m33 update «--» lftv". Just really bad search language on my part. So I was able to switch the icons. I'll put those offsets in the other thread. As far as the text, I'll check that out it's probably the route taken there because a fresh topmenu_plugin.rco does misplace the text. I really appreciate the help from the both of you. I'm going to tidy these themes up. Nothing original here on my part really. Just taking one thing is a slightly different direction. When they're done I'll share.
