anyways.. its supposed to pad files to 32767 bytes.. but i edited it so that it pads thefile to 98301(4 hi-res bgs) :> then u can just merge them with copy /b.. really cosy :)
i will attach the files..
by the way yeah i know about the december thing :> but i use a high quality jpg instead .. just because of filesize-saving :)

Mythos, how do you use this tool? So this will make every image (jpg image only?) 32767 bytes in size? And about copy b/, doesn't it work for bmp images only? Is it okay to rename the final images from .jpg to .bmp? Sorry for my too many questions. :mdr:Cheers.

be sure your image is UNDER 32767 bytes.. it will "fill" the rest with 00s till it's 32767 bytes in size :)
yeah then u can just use copy /b .. .. just rename it to .bmp then..
oh and nice screenie =)

Thanks for sharing the padding tool. Now, I have 01-12.bmp with 12 350x198 backgrounds. And it fixes my issues. I thought, I'm gonna end up not using my system_plugin_fg.rco a.k.a XP tasbar in order to use 12 hi-res backgounds 01-12.bmp. No more white boxes, thanks to bstronga for my topmenu fix.
