help appreciated
Hi all, im new here and i got a few questions.
i have a psp 3000 and i want to play monster hunter 3rd, but i can't read japanese so i need the english patch. I read the guides on how to install the english patch but am i right to believe i need a pandoras battery and download the game for the patch to work or something? or can i buy the japanese game and somehow use the english patch on that? and can i play with other japanese monster hunters who havent screwed around with their psps?

If your PSP is not running HEN Custom Firmware, find one and run it. You need the ISO of MH3, and an ISO editor or automatic english patcher for the ISO. You can't patch a UMD if you buy it, you'd still need to dump the data into an ISO and patch that. I'm pretty sure you can still play online, but i don't do that on my PSP so I'm not a good judge.

3000 is not compatible with Pandora's Battery as far as i am aware.
