Vista is not that bad everyone say, you just have to now how work with this new Windows. Ok there are little bugs that always with every windows that released, buth why people still blame Vista i realy don't now.

when i eventually buy a new laptop for myself, I'm going to make sure it comes with XP, or install XP over Vista, then dual-boot Ubuntu with XP :D

because:
vista is big.
vista is slow.
vista is buggy as hell.
vista is expensive.
vista has no driver support.
vista is unnecessary - its being forced on us.
vista has too many versions.
vista consumes far more system resources.
vista security means you are restricted in what you can do with your own machine.

i can't think of a single reason to have it at all.
i was hesitant to change to xp initially but i can say this - i will NOT be upgrading to vista anytime soon unless someone buys me it.
