gameboot and recovery exit freeze
can someone help me with a psp whenever i click a game icon it just freezes on gameboot..same as i access the recovery menu when i press the exit, but when i twist slightly it just works, i know its a hardware prob , but i can't identify what should be the prob, can someone upload avideo solution?

Post more info.
What firmware are you on?
What happened before it stopped working?
What plugins do you have enabled?
Can you launch any homebrew at all ? If so - have you tried checking your keys with chilly willy's Key Cleaner? Maybe your ID Storage is messed up.

foxim8ly, It's most likely your UMD drive. I got a new shell for my PSP and I had the same problem that your having now. It turns out that the ribbon cable the goes the the motherboard was not seated correctly.

im on 5.50 gen d3 tried all firmwares installed 5.00m33,4.01m33 3.90m33, same prob., disconnect umd drive ,no luck, all games and homebrew still freezes,no plugins installed, it was dropped before it has the issue ive tried everything still the same, its just the twisting that solved the prob, but i want to know what it causes,

well it sounds like a hardware problem, so you need to get yourself a new psp, if you do get a psp get the 2000 version second hand or something so that it can be hacked easily and you could get a new main body case of ebay to make the psp look brand new.
