Does depend how you can sell yourself.
I generally say that a piece of paper is just a piece of paper. It says nothing about the aptitude of the person, neither does it give any indication of the enthusiasm one has towards a particular field, or whether one just got lucky on a test or cramed the night before and forgot everything afterwards. Also, school/uni etc tends to be very theoretical and not exactly always practical, and understanding theory doesn't necessarily translate smoothly to good practical knowledge and experience.
