Really ? Because CFWEnabler 3.70 came out after 5.03 GEN-C. And still no support for 5.55+. So that means what ? They copied GEN-A ? Then where the heck did the Speed up MS feature come from when not even 5.03 GEN-C has it ? :) Something doesn't quite match, does it ?

I've been digging for some info and it seems "5.03 M33-6" really did came before 5.03 GEN-A, however it only had support for TA-088v3 motherboards. GEN made it for the PSP 3000 and then MHU followed... On the GEN forum someone said Mathieulh said that MHU copied GEN's work. In what way ? That they included support for the 3000 ?

Anyway, it was MHU who first did CFW for the "unCFW-able" PSPs, not GEN. Since GEN came after, I'm gonna have to assume they copied MHU, and MHU probably copied the 3000 support from them. I'm not gonna go against Mathieulh on this one (if he actually said such a thing). And even if MHU copied the support for PSP 3000, I'm sure they would've eventually figured it out since they were the first.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm interested to know what actually happened because I think MHU is a great firmware. Why couldn't GEN come up with a nice GUI like that ?

nice GUI? seriously, installing a CFW doesn't require good looking tools.
remember OE firmwares? just black screen and red (or pink?) text.
Dark_AleX implemented the GUI for DC only, not for CFW install.

Where did that come from ? Because GEN sure as spoon didn't have it and they STILL don't, even in their latest firmware.

Why is that ?

first of all, Davee made the HEN, so that wee can run unsigned code on the PSP. The only thing MHU poo poo did was using the M33 modules in ChickHEN and nothing more. That doesn't prove how they got things work.
GENyUS was the one who brought PSP-3000 support. If MHU poo poo did understand things then they would have released CFWEnabler with PSP-3000 support.

Revive an ol' drama? Let's bump it with some facts...

Davee made the HEN
He didn't used M33-Modules, because he couldn't contact DA whether he could use his work
After the HEN got released the lamer team MHU (see previous posts for the explanation of their name) simply modified (did they?) some M33 modules, made a quick flasher (yeah, even a Programming-n00b could do this) and released the poo poo
Team GEN released their CFWLoader with 3k support
Davee stopped working on it, and so on... wee all know the e-drama

Also attached the reversed code of MHUs poo poo...

Are you f*cking kidding me ? THEY WERE THE FIRST AND GEN CAME AFTER. So who copied who after all ?

"In ChickHEN and nothing more" ? Their files were flashed to flash0 and ran THE FIRST cfw on those unCFW-able PSPs.

MHU 'borrowed' what, exactly ? 3000 support ? What, EXACTLY, did they 'borrow' ? Did they 'borrow' the entire 5.03 GEN-A firmware (which had support for 3000) and put their name on it as "MHU" ? Then what explains the Speed up MS access feature if they did ?????? I'm very confused.
