even if someone does give me the God picture, I would like to post a joke (a poor one I read a long way back), that ironically poses a really serious argument.

One day, man decides that he has grown extremely smart and intelligent. He has control over the entire world, can decide how many species live or die, can clone and is in general, capable of using anything to make anything.

Hence he decides that he should be God. So he appeals to the God:
Man: "God, wee don't need you anymore"
God: "Why is that?"
Man: "Cause wee can do anything that you can do."
God: " I see.. can you create light?"
Man demonstrates various experiments and creates light.
God: " Oh my! Then can you create water?"
Man demonstrates various experiments and creates water.
God: "Spectacular! How about Life? Can you create a man from dust, like I did?"
Man bends down to pick up some dust when God screams:
"HEY!! GET YOUR OWN DUST ASSHOLE!!"

I'm sure people of the long past understood, but such pure understanding of what is real, what is possible, and the beautifully simple anatomy of energy - is simply not possible because of how poisoned our society become - the result of the self-destructive nature of humans.

Too many schools and such now a days focus on such linear fashion that abstract concepts thoughts and ideas are no longer graspable by modern society. Therefore understand something that complex would take a huge linear thought or a simple abstract or raw one.

at least that is how I see it. But I am glad I found someone who can understand this.

I wouldn't say no longer graspable. Those with open minds are capable of considering any ideology for themselves.

And likewise, I hoped you'd get to this eventual conclusion.

As far as religion. I stand with the communist party "Religion is a drug for the masses".
I do believe that there are beings much more powerful then ourselves but I don't know if they did or did not create the universe

I don't know about the divine mystical and mythical beings, but surely somewhere in the universe, a more advanced civilization must exist. And unlike in Independence Day, they will be able to annihilate Earth pretty easily and will have hyper advanced AI and AV software...
