Vegetano1 Wrote:Hmm,..i have to spoil the mood!!,.. because redirecting icon's is good for multiple icon's not for trying to save ram, using icons in the xmb,.. redirecting still uses the same count of icon's,. i tried stuff like this alot,.. you can redirect all position's to 1 icon and still uses the same amount of ram when you load all icon's @ there own place,. ;)
would be good to save flash0 space but with slim flash0 and CXMB31 that's not a prob that much but still for fat psp,..

there are still alot of vshmain offsets wich can be added,.!?

hi mate, i just modded schmilk's frosstyboxxy theme by redirecting all icons to one image. and now i can use a 480x272 01-12.bmp... i dunno exactly if it reduce ram usage, but i know it(redirection) has a little advantage.

that's good to hear,. lol,. no one really knows for sure how it works,.

are you gonne add a redirect option,. i kinda need to redirect the glow icons not sure yet,. making a new theme formeself,.
also i guess that using glow icons in topmenu uses less ram then using the normal icons,. i mean if you have 6 big main icons you be able to add as amny glow icons as you want,. but again in a theme with all normal icons this does not work,. hehe

by the way you have 12 01-12.bmp pics!? or just the last month?
oh that is good if your using the same type of icon.

yeah it works great, minus the always present with high res backgtrounds probelm of no preview of some of the month colors problem and having to select the month twice which isn't a big deal...but the problem of disapearing xmb text is present..only noticed in the time zone menu which is where i always look for that problem...other than that....HOT HOT HOT....

Still don't know about text disapearing,.!? no text ever disapeared while themeing,.
the month color previews can be solved by lowering resolution's in the sysconfg_plugin.rco. also the 01-12.bmp
first try to lower the res in the 01-12.bmp untill you don't have to select the high res pic twice then for preview icons try lowering the res of any icon in the sysconfg,.
follow these 2 steps and you can get 100% month color selction and preview icons,..
