and besides, being a mod is a J_O_B; its work, you have to come visit the site, monitor, and deal with people on your own free time i can't see why so many people want to be mods (yet about 80% arent cut out to be mods anyway)
i respect you guys for keeping your positions :P
You saying I am incapable?
this place is full of cool people, Modding isn't a fudgeing death wish like a ton of notable sites on the net.
hai... hai... hai.... hai....
people here are surprisingly well behaved and cool!

Even if you wait its unlikely you'll be a mod. You need to have good web etiquette, be a respectable member in the community, loyal the forum rules and the ability to handle the way other members act correctly.
Also asking to be a mod is going encourage us not to make you one >_>
i wasn't really asking.... just wanted to know....

yeah wee don't have many dickheads posting fudgeed up stuff to mod
i mostly move threads and merge double post.
but i havent seen much to mod lately (weird maybe another mod is doing it before me)
there is always someone else doing stuff before you...
never mind
how much stuff on average are there to mod?
bootpsp Wrote:there is always someone else doing stuff before you...

Nah, there isn't a whole lot to do anyway, its easier when sPa/\/\ is the norm
@Andrew...not much really, mostly moving threads to the correct places, and very occasionally having to remove links from posts
and most of the people on ep don't cause a lot of trouble and post stuff in the right place most of the time
bootpsp Wrote:there is always someone else doing stuff before you...
i doubt that, only a select few will do eet
you know who you are <.<

People tend to look at moderators as a type of person they respect I guess? Also power?
I'm not sure about the 80% statistic - in fact, I did some experiments with this site at the beginning - my theory goes that the average person can do a reasonable job of moderating (they may be a little uncertain at the start, if they're not that familiar with the community, but they'll soon adapt).
It doesn't matter too much on an internet community though - you can easily walk away from the "job" :P
