How many of you have been convinced to do something you do not wish to do. For example, you are threatened with consequence for not doing it, or peer pressure from your friends, or some other reason. If you can be made to change your mind from trivial reasons such as consequences or peer pressure from your friends, then do you think it'll be easy to hold onto what you said if you are facing death?
You guys may sound noble and heroic now, but if some maniac looking guy actually went up to you, with a bloodstained knife, and told you he is going to stick it right through your chest, and is going to slowly pull it all the way down until you can see your intestines slide all across the floor, you'd very likely be thinking differently.
my thought exactly, that's why I'm not voting, i can't imagine what i'd do if something went down, i could easily say that but when the moment comes i don't know if i would do it because of those factors
i don't really have a loved one to save.
anyways, i would do my best not to get into a life or death situation. i do really care about living though. i can accept that everyone dies eventually.
I would try to save both but if all fails a loved one.

I dunno what I would do. I would want to do something though, because a few years back I had a knife pulled on me and my friend was with me but he just stood there staring, and I was asking him to help me like "Hey! Help me!?!?!" kind of thing but he just stood there. So I kicked the guy in the nuts and ran off in the opposite direction. Man that was scary!!! It was only for my phone and a game I had just bought, but still, does Fable count as a loved one?? lol

it's a chocolatehole round where i live. but i doubt whether you'd get into a life or death situation too often.
oh and to answer your question. i do have family but i hate most of them and i would put my life first at all times. i just want to see what the future will bring.

As for the question: If someone has to die, it is a no-fair deal in all perspectives. Its noble and all to say that Fight, and die for someone you love. Truth said, I'll never know. I have been in death defying situations before, but all the while, I've had no emotions about it.
Whoever die, I couldn't care either which way. I don't have a loved one who can influence mt way of life. So I really can't answer how far I'd go to preserve them.
As for me dying, well... I sure won't be alive to regret it!
I think I would save myself, I may not look it but I can be very selfish at times
