people shouldn't mess around with nature, it has horrible side effects
if your gay and just need to have a kid deal with the fact that it is nature and that you are gay; something that goes against humans perceived normal bonding so you will never have a kid through "normal" means, deal with it
that's how life works if someone wants to be gay they should already know theres a reason why they will never have a kid (By the way assassinator im not saying your gay :P)
but onto the topic of gay marriage: im alright with gays as everyone said as long as they don't bother me i don't care at all really

I don't condone homosexuality, but it does not directly affect me, so I am not affected by it being legal one way or another, at least as far as I can see at the moment. It may have some sort of affect in how insurance works out for everyone to some degree that I cannot fathom.
However, many who follow the bible closely have problems with homosexuality for obvious reasons. This is NOT meant to spark any more religious debate or give any indication about how I feel, as I have already stated my feelings. This is just what the bible says about it, and what others would cite. I just thought I would mention it on their behalf.
The first mention in the Bible is in Genesis 19:1-13. The wicked men of Sodom attempted a homosexual rape of two messengers from God who had come to visit Lot. As a result of this and other widespread wickedness, God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in a storm of fire and brimstone.
Romans 1:26-28, For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper
1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Leviticus 20:13, If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them
Leviticus 18:22, You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
There is no mention of same-sex marriages or partnerships in the Bible, either for or against. The omission is probably because these issues were not even considered in Biblical times.
That being said, are there any Bible readers in here that believe the above?
