vista sucks in security :D it's still too vulnerable and it eats a lot of memory on unused stuffs. :S
i rather wait for vista sp2 to use it. oh and when xp sp3 seems to be best in performance since it gets about 10% increased performance! :yipi:

i tried it on my old pc and it crashes XD. I got infos on psxhaven.com and the admin there "HATES" with a passion. windows vista. he showed us a couple of vulnerabilities and a virus that would cause vista to keep rebooting over again and again. there was the post but i couldn't find it. oh well
XP vs Vista
oh and the supposed security in vista kind of over kills sometimes. (very annoying to have security comfirmations for each stuffs you do.)
well there's also internet explorer. Firefox would work wayyyyyyy better on it. ((i hate internet explorer even more now. internet explorer 6 already sucked. but internet explorer 7 sucks even more. it takes loads of time to load))
also any tiny changes in the hardwares of the computer would make the system not even boot anymore.
one thing i hate the most is the lack of drivers. lots of older computers are vista capable but the only problem are the drivers. my laptop worked with vista! but i didn't have the driver for the graphics card and in the end i had to go back to XP. ((couldn't play games or even watch videos...yeah that's normal if your computer doesn't know you have a graphics card :D))
Vista also needs a high end machine. 512 mb ram is too little to run this vista. this is making a lot of people dumping their old computers and buy a new one just for vista and come to be disapointed by it's performance.
myself i personal prefer perfomance over looks. after all it's everywhere.
performance comes over looks
that's what's inside that counts. i bet there's a lot of bad things to say on vista but got to google more.
vista does has a lot of new cool features but if you need performance then...no no to vista.
I'm not bashing vista. it all depends on what you do on your computer. :D
anyway Vista might grow up and make it's proof when it gets a little older and drivers and improvements are made to the os.

well as you can see here, LAT03 confirms. an 8 year old PC ran Vista.
Vista is fine. I don't see the big fuss.
I don't use IE, firefox For the win! that's why when I vLited my Vista. I removed things like the speech, extra languages , IE. . .
I have to say. I don't see ANYTHING wrong with Vista.
so there are like 3 confirmations when you want to delete something but you can remove that. I did its like winXP.
Vista is fine.My computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Vista but it still runs fine. Just like lat03's PC.
Vista SP1 should HOPEFULLY make some believers. but since they are making SP3 for XP, I doubt people will listen, I will stick with Vista.
