i jus FRESH installed windows xp on my upstiars computer and then after it went through that welcome to windows poo poo (where u choose your username and it says would you like to register with windows) then it went to a log in screen, so i clicked on my account and it asked for a password and i was like double you tee eff i didn't even set a password.
i have tried going into safe mode and loging on to the administrator account and changing the password but even that has a password. so now im stuck. and all i can say is HELLLP
ummmm
r u sure u didnt actually type something somewhere where u thought it was something else but it was actually asking for ur password? otherwise idk, reinstall again (ehehe)? r u sure u are booting from the newly installed version?
im sure i didin't do that and also im sure im booting from a new installed windows becuase i have never had a password on my windows xp accounts since the day i got it which is 2002 i think
hmm. . . . yeah try accesing administrator and removing the password.
Are you using some strange hacked version or an original cd? Maybe if you have some sort of badly cracked one it has a password built in which may be in the nfo somewhere, or else it sucks and download a better one. Or if its an original or a copy of an original then idk :S
it has been downloaded yes but i have used this copy for ages
