Oh, so I was partly correct :P
Safari browser - hmm, considering that the PSP's browser lags @ 333MHz, I wonder how horrible the iPod one will be...

im using the safari browser on my ipod right now. it only takes about1-3sec to load up a page on these forums. it can also stream quicktime files. although it dosnt have javascript.
so i would say its as fast as my laptops browser.
I have the 30 gig ipod video and love it it has tv out and enough stoagre to hold a few dvd's and that works for me, then again i baught a 'borrowed' one for 30 bucks so i coudlnt pass it up space and video out is the only thing ipod has that psp doesn't I'm happy with both
wow
that's a lot of words for one comma
The iPhone browser, which is identical to that of the iPod touch, works like a charm. It's fast and can stream Quicktime. I'm actually surprised they got it to work so well.

No Javascript? That probably explains the speed then.
But then, all AJAX/web 2.0 based sites will no longer work. And considering the amount of AJAX appearing on pages these days... it's only going to increase...
Streaming QuickTime is interesting I guess. Still, I don't see that many sites which actually stream QuickTime - flash is currently the dominant format.
