i had written a book on this threadabout my ipod and hit the wrong key - lost the whole damn story, so short version:
bought ipod video broke it opening it to fix the scratches - cost more fixing it than it was worth - and now some songs jump and i still have the scratches.
i won't be worshipping another ipod until they fix the damned screen plastic. (the iphone does look to be the one that fixes that, shame i can't afford it now, and even if i could, can't get it here)
I WANT THE IPOD TOUCH! :D
PSP > iPod at videos.
Music, well, I prefer to save money and stick with the PSP..
i went to the apple store to get an itouch.. they won't have it til the end of this month. so my mom bought me the 8gb iphone :D
rofl
if u think about it, a psp can do anything an ipod touch can (and more), has a bigger screen and is half the price. however, when u buy an ipod touch you get 1. a better design 2. an _/-\o_ iPod _/-\o_ 3. a touch screen and 4. a better interface. but is it worth the price? only for some ppl.
Double postinteresting fact: you can't use the new nano while skiing or on really hot summer days at the beach:
Operating temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)

Don't forget:
- No games (unless iPods support poo poo games
- No Wifi / Internet Browser
- No homebrew / emulators
- Limited expandability
- Can't use external media (PSP's memsticks can continue growing in size)
- No free PSX / ISOs etc

not sticking up for iPods, but the new iPod Touch has Wifi, and probably has games.
i would prefer a PSP anyday but i have one, and only use it for ISOs :D
Games... Hmm... Are they even comparable to PSP games?
Wifi - what for? Sharing ghey DRM'd music?
It has games, well safari browser based games at any rate, and it also has wifi but hey didn't make any mention of transfering your drm'd music.
In other news Sony has reworked there walkman line to open it up to all non-itunes music sites and support h.264 video, I'm still sticking with my PSP though I just wish someone would fix the default audio players volume levels.
The Wi-fi is for using the built in safari browser and the Wi-fi iTunes store.
