hmm its still not applicable in our country because wee don't like fast internet connection lol, i might look for Wii U or Ps4 for my next gen console

You're going to need faster internet for it. Wii U not so much.

but ps4 don't have the "always online mode" correct? since im always like to play my games offline (don't care with online multi and dlc just need a good game lol)

indeed, PS4 doesn't need to be online like the Xbox One does, the Xbox One checks once a day apparently to make sure you're connected to Xbox Live, otherwise no dice, no game for you.

Yeah, but Sony will undoubtedly be pushing digital content hard. And in 2013, wee aren't talking 1mb, more like 1gb+. And wee still don't completely know Sony's DRM plans, For all wee know, it might need to connect once a day to verify licenses too.

however i won't unfairly assume sony will follow suit until they've said so. they already confirmed PS4 will be region-free. I sincerely doubt the PS4 Eye is a requirement unlike Kinect 2.0 which must be connected for the Xbox One to function. And I very much doubt the PS4 will need an internet connection to function like the Xbox One either. I'm just seeing the Xbox One as a more restrictive PS4 atm.
