Bacon is salty, the other stuff is sweet, I don't think it'll work very well.

Sometimes salty and sweet work together. For example, when people like to dip their fries (or chips as they call them in other countries) in their shakes. But, I don't know if that would work so well with bacon and ice cream.
I'm sure it wouldn't be completely terrible, as long as the bacon isn't greasy.

Well, I've known some people to do it, but they don't have an overwhelming amount of the shake on it. Just a little bit.
I've never tried it though lol.

milkshake + chips is good
havent done that in years though
salt naturally amplifies the flavour of anything that hits your tongue so i think the bacon bits and strip would make the ice cream taste even better

I cook, and salty and sweet do work. Depends on if you don't kill it with other flavors. Like sweet, salty, and spicy at the same time don't work. Spicy and sweet do work. Try chili pepper and semi-sweet chocolate in a chocolate bar mold, or buy here.
