Endless Paradigm

Similar to the Wii's 'Pro Controller', the Wii U will also have one. The problem I see is that developers might not make games that use the 'screen controller'.
People are drawing parallels between this and the 360 controller. I see it.

It does look similar to the Xbox 360 controller.

As for buying a Wii U, I have no interest in it.

I prefer power over gimmick :/

erm not likely, maybe more of a reverse ps3 controller (oh wait nintendo was first to have the button layout ps3 has today, from ps1 to ps2 then ps3 they have same layout from snes controller, lol)

I kinda thought both the Xbox and Xbox 360 copied the Dreamcast controller.

What are they going to do for a new controller design? Make it so it's "totally different" from the crowd and your hands?

Personally, I don't care if a controller looks similar to another gaming console's controller, just as long as it's comfortable, and the buttons aren't in odd places.
