You can do anything you can do when you're a teen, plus stuff you couldn't do before due to lack of money or parents not letting you.
Which forces you to either:
a) do it without them noticing, or
b) find something more creative
Which is where the excitement comes from :P
Being able to do what you want is overrated.

Ah, but bear in mind that teen years are also there for you to
screw things up, that's not a given when you're older. Once you're dead in the water, you're dead in the water.
Teenagers have that fall-back of parents if things start getting bad, I'm quite happy for it at this time.
Maybe dead in the water is a bit too much, but I doubt your parents are going to help you invest your time in redoing your education for a different position in life
