Well, that's it.  This run is now COMPLETE.  Yes, I know there's the Sevii Islands subquest (where you stop Team Rocket) and the Cerulean Cave (where Mewtwo sleeps), but I didn't see much need to do those...

Anyways, I hope everyone enjoyed the ride!  Until next time....

And I still blame myself for his death.  I mean, I could have done things so differently.  I could have let Kasumi the Starmie handle Rhydon with ease, but I wanted to make sure everybody got a chance to participate in the final battle.  I could have ordered Cameron to use Giga Drain to start with, which may have scored a OHKO due to Rhydon's 4x weakness to Grass.

But instead, I decided I'd put Rhydon to sleep, and then destroy it as I pleased......Damn you, Sleep Power, for failing at the worst possible moment....

So while the other two deaths in this run were the result of bad luck (Crit-Hit Revenge on Eve the Dragonair, and Pursuit catching Xavier the Abra in a bait-and-switch), Cameron's death was 100% my fault.

But you forget that Butterfree has the Compoundeyes ability in Gen 3, which raises accuracy by 30% of a move's original accuracy.  Let's do a little math, shall wee?

30% of 75 is 22.5, so 75% + 22.5% = 97.5%

So yeah, Sleep Powder had a 2.5% chance of missing....which makes Cameron's death even worse :(
