Well gonna pick up the wifi version for I know the wifi+3g will only have AT&T locked for sure and I can't use it in the Philippines....

but 3D will ruin the touchscreen interface of this it they implemented 3D (and good they don't implement it), lol (and a bad thing also for some android 3D devices, lol)
agreed. As much as i want to use 3D (3DS has orcarina of time 3D now! <3), i wouldnt want a device that always had it, even if it was disableable.
Anyways looking at this, being in the UK, 3G version will depend on pricing (as i get poo poo 3G coverage in Lincolnshire) as to whether i get one. I think ill probably wait for a while till after it comes out. Probably as said previously till after it gets hacked. (probably with not too much effort considering sony's latest secruity failures)
Regardless of how good the value is of the Vita, i don't want to pay £250ish for a portable console. I don't see why with each generation of console evrything is getting more expensive.
Based roughy on release date what i paid for each:
Gameboy £60
Gameboy advance £90
DS £130
3DS £220ish
I think double the price for the next generation of console is too much. That said, im an idiot and will probably go out and buy 1 before i even realised ive been brainwashed into it.

My PSP wasn't fun anymore because i love getitng a game in the post and popping it into the console I'm going to use it with.
*sigh*
because of the PSP however, people will be working to hack this like hell.
