Yes she's famous because of the terrible quality of the song.
I am quite familiar in the area where something is so bad it becomes it's best quality. Although in some cases like this, it's so bad everyone knows it.
She's famous because people post: Oww! My ears! And that gets the other people thinking: It can't be that bad... then they're all like: Earbleach! I need Earbleach! And then this pattern repeats itself.
It has more views than Canada has People. (wee have about 34 million)
she's just another cash cow for another record company.... give it a couplke of months and someone new will be along....

Actually, I would see that as an achievement if I was her, or the industry behind producing that song.

Problem is, that sort of special quality doesn't appear if you've done it deliberately.
Well in most cases. I know some cases where it's deliberate but still gets the same idea across.
