So the NGP can play psp games so that means it must use the same kirk keys.
So the NGP will already have homebrew available for it.
And the already signed homebrew will work.
But knowing Sony will limit the proscssing power of the cpus cores when running PSP EBOOTS.
So PSP developers can just make NGP homebrew and sign it using the PSP usermode keys.
Well if you are correct,. then it prob won't be difficult to hack the ngp,. because there is already an exploit,. ;)
The downside will be that wee wouldn't be able to use the touch screen or the touch pad at the back... because Sony will limit the buttons wee can use on PSP eboots.
the NGP may have a whitelist
of ALL psp game/PSN game/app
and if it is not on that list
then, you get a error
the list can be updated with FW updates
and the NGP will EMULATE the PSP
so sony should be able to say what PSP game/app can run

Yeah they might do that...... I hope they don't
You can bet they will.
And exploits in an emulator doesn't necessarily translate to exploits outside it...

Nooooooooo!!!
Wait a minute couldn't wee just then use the same Id/name of the game/PSN game/app that is on there whitelist soo then wee get no error. :)

I sure the white list will include a crc and more, so it will not work by simply changing the ID.

Doesn't really mean anything,.. you can start a game making the PSP think its a game on the white list,..

its a start,. ;p
also i don't know how powerfull the security will be on the ngp,. its still a handheld,.
Until the NGP is actually released, this is all only speculation.
I'm sure after the PS2/PSP/PS3 fiascoes, $ONY will have their new handheld well prepared on the security end..
