Ive been trying to use the 2nd method, but when i open "WQSG_UMD_R31" it shows read mode! How to change to write mode? Ive been searching that the solution is go to properties of the ISO file and uncheck the "read-only" What i did it is AREADY uncheck, but still it shows read mode when i open it with WQSG_UMD_R31. This is killing me man. I can't use the auto patcher it shows error. The 1st method i couldnt find the ppftest.ppf, nor i can apply the 0.29.ppf patch. Please help!!

So my brother in Japan sent me MHP3rd.. I have the UMD and am curious how I could go about getting it to run in english. Can I get the ISO and apply this patch.. then let it verify the UMD in the psp?

I've gone through hours of looking online on how to do this and your post is the one that worked for me. Thank you kindly. Can't wait to play it!!!  >_<

First of all,   This is my first post and I registered solely for this :)

Anyway, heres my prob:

It wasan't working on my 5.50 Gen-D3, gave me some error with numbers when I loaded it  so I upgraded it to 5.50 Prome-4 and the game it-self works (torrent from piratebay) but when I patch it using the first method and turn the game on, the "PSP" comes up and then the screen just stays black. I can press home (comes in JPN) and go back to main menu but the screen stays black. The un-patched version works fine.

I dled the Auto-Patcher and when I clicked the check button, it came with with some error about code not being same and go to pspripkits for more info and on the auto patcher itself, it had "Checking Failer :(" or something like that meaning its not "un-touched" whatever you mean by that (un-edited I guess?) if so can someone direct me to somewhere I can get one "un-touched)

I really really want to play this game ... one of my 8GB mem cards got  corrupted and and 2GB is useless so not much space for other games ... I want this to be on there as its my fav one

you have download the scene release .iso. then patch it with the english patch. finally patch it with prometheus 4.
