If anime is 2D, how do they represent 2D in this 2D world?
Pictures without shading?  Less complex images?
Or maybe overly fancy drawings?
No object occlusion, maybe? Hiding part of something behind something else implies depth, after all.

(Is occlusion even the right word?)

These two as far as I know..
I never though anime as 2d (sort of) I mean it's on a flat screen but the drawings and shading give an illusion of depth.

No actually, wee watch 2D in a 3D world.  Funny, but that's how screens work.

Screw 3D TV/BD, everyone knows it's just 2x2D images anyway.

and yeah,. 3dtv sucks,. and i don't like wearing 3d glasses,.
