Because i may post something when i wake up in this posts position; stay tuned!
So here's the edit, it's a post about my first week of university life; yayz. Because i want to get this all posted really quick as i have work to attend to, I'll just post some of my highlights.
- 75% of Girls are still bitches (your mileage may vary)
- Textbooks don't come cheap.
- Days can become long if your classes are split up.
- I still haven't made much friends yet, whatevs.
- It still feel like highschool, cept i use my tablet in class.
So, for some comments on the textbooks thing; I've paid 500$ total for my textbooks because i was able to find some of the stuff online. But lo and behold of course, since this is my first time at university that number could've been drastically reduced to a nice 200$ or 300$. Why? EBOOKS! e.g. After buying my solutions manual for math i find my teach posting the solution manual online! W_T_F. Not only that, i use the web card that comes with my textbook and find out that the online version costs half of my freaking textbook! W_T_F. So, I've already blown hundreds of dollars, this sucks mang...
About the pressure, I'm a little bit crazed about working; as i see this posts a waste of time even (I <3 you guys though). I barely talk with my roommate or family friend under the guise that i work all the time, which, is what I'm doing (half time, which explains this post). The classes are fun, physics, biology, math, and english feel like they will come easy; chemistry, on the other hand, seems to be a very tough course with a professor i can barely understand. Fudge. I'm paying for all this + some of my parents money, so you can probably understand why I'm like this; more support from other goers at uni perhaps?
About living alone, it's great and at times i really, really, REALLY, want to go crazy and be a social animal having fun and other craps. It's really hard to tell myself that i need to sit down all day and study, but I'm trying to manage going to the gym 3 days a week for an hour; since it's free. Thing is, i felt uni would also be where i turn my life around, unfortunately, rather; it's being consumed T_T. The last thing i want to get from uni is being overweight and disgustingly mole-ish.
Will i have time for social life or fun? Dunno. What i do know is that now more than ever; i need to work hard to achieve my dreams.
Dreams > goals > health goals > wanting; that's how i work.
Yes mods, i understand the whole "why post this this then," this is for fun; hurr durr derp
