Couldn't work out the best colour font, so its unreadble at the moment
This was the first one, followed a tut with this one
Created using Gimp (only just got it...totally inferior to me, slowly learning) I hope to use one of my current linearts when its coloured to create a completely original sig...but until then I'm just scouring my wallpaper folder.
Any recommendations as to what are the best fonts?
You thoughts?
nice work. great for gimp.
I can't say much about the font - but I can tell you the JPEG Compression is hurting it badly - artifacts are obvious and clarity is lost. Save it as PNG instead. [or if you did - find an image host that won't convert it, like Tinypic or Imageshack]
you might want to put the font in bold... or make it bigger. I can't read your name at all.
Ah thanks Senseito, yeh I exported it as jpeg...oops >.< The font I used in the top one is a bitmap font, so it just looks silly enlarged, I might change the font. i just read up on your guide and now have a site for resources so I'll probally do some more sigs before I finish my lineart (and maybe a wallpaper seeing as its just a bigger sig...kinda)
the text on the first one is kinda weird, but other than that it looks awesomeeee.
oh, and the render could use some blending of sorts.
Nice for your first and on GIMP! :o
don't listen to everyone knocking gimp lol. very nice for your first one. if you are going to save it as a jpeg (i wouldnt, because jpeg doesn't suport transparency) then make sure the quality bar is up all the way, if you compress it, its going to turn out terrible. i really like the first one, (but for the unreadable font, id try maybe blue (like match the blue that you have on the right side behind the render), the second one is very well done, but maybe try using a better font (if your at a loss at where to get them, go to dafont.com they have a spoon ton of fonts and all free)
anyways, that's what i think, take it or leave it, but either way, awesome job and nice use of gimp!
Good work Razgris! Didn't know it was possible to make sigs that great on Gimp, I got to start using it again
They're pretty good, only thing that didn't like was the font on the second one, and the color used on the font for the 1st sig since you can't read the text that well.
Other than that great work

lol,,, that is not Tetris! xD
Oh!! I didn't even notice!! XD
I must've drifted off while posting that, thanks for pointing it out Davis or I would not have noticed
lol, thanks everone for the feedback. The master spark one as I say was created using a tut, the second one was just experimentation....6 layers in total I think not including the text layers :D I'm begining to like gimp, I just wish gimpshop would run because I would like it all in one window :(
EDIT: I have done another sig in the meantime, and have updated the Aya Shameimaru one to. Can't upload now becasue of the websense at school (Im the assistant IT techy....but pretty useless XD)
