these are good sigs man.... i suggest you make them a little softer though... try experimenting with the cloud effect slightly
Thanks for the feedbacks. I know what you mean about the similarities but everytime I make a new sig, i go through every option in the filters menu and stuff and experiment to see what pleases me. Also I had to stop doing any artwork as my system wasn't behaving...went through like 7 OS reinstalls -.-'

Edit: Restocked on my grunge brushes since the reinstall and fancied a new sig :P

a bit too over the top, imo.

It's probably just my style but I'd never have used grunge (for the sake of grunge) with a girl like her. I'd use a completely different style. Probably use basic brushes and experiment with color to amplify what's already there.. that's probably just me though. (^-^')
I see where your coming from. So I f I was like to do it with standard brushes, I just do some streaks and then apply filters and shizz?

I never used filters. I don't think many of us do.

If you want interesting effects, experiment with Adjustment Layers. You can find them to the left of the Group Folder button (which is to the left of the New Layer button).

As for brushes, I wasn't being strict I was just mentioning how I would work with a girl like her once upon a time. For suttle brushes I recommend Shad0ws brush sets and look for general ones like splash and the shape ones you're using are good too, there are lots like theme available. (Don't be afraid to play with the Pen Tool when you feel like it though ;3)

You can achieve pretty cool results using the default Basic & Calligraphy brushes though, just work your Brush Settings hard - there are so many ways you can change the brushes, and when modifying brushes, the simpler they are, the more flexibly useful they will be to you.

nice first sig and pretty good for gimp :D
work on the text though
It's been........tooo long, gawd knows why i stopped...but I'm startin again. Lost all my old brushes, what's worse is I got confused and started using CS3 which somehow lacks some of the cool functions Gimp has ¬.¬ so here's my first attempts after a long cat is looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong of a time.

Decided to make myself a Facebook image with some resauces I still had :3

And then continued to make a sig where I fell over and found out that I'd manage to lose some functions that weren't even in CS3 to start with and wondered for ever why it hadn't autodetected the new brushes like I thought it used to when in actual fact I was thinking about Gimp all the time but had soo much chocolate I was lulled into a false sense of security and so adobe forced me to do shizz for nuthin ¬.¬ If I had know, this might have been better If

The second one feels a bit empty on the left. The green blades on the bottom right don't blend~~
Your first one looks nice, though too many overlaying effects for my taste. Good job overall desu~

those blades are in the resource im afraid, nothing I could do about those :/

EDIT1: Another one, just seen Andrewcc's sig...I'll try something like that tomorrow. But I just keep thinking it's lacks something, and so I over crowd them most of the time. I just can't seem to make things....flow :/

EDIT2: Oh and I'm using gimp again, I prefer it to Photosho[ because it has features I couldn't find in CS3 and just cba to get used to CBA :3 In other words...I like to be difficult =w=
