Sony need to improve their service for the GO!. The solution lies within Sony, not in an ISO loader.
By the way; can't you just make an UK or Hongkong PlayStation account to acces their stores? Just like the can with the PS3?
p.s. well written! It's an interresting discussion.
There's only one flaw in that... I have every purchase worthy PSP game as a UMD, like Final Fantasy Dissidia, Crisis Core, Tales of the World, Tales of Eternia and whatnot... I refuse to buy every game again....
inb4: Then don't buy a GO!
Well I want a go because it has a form factor that I actually consider portable, the Slim does not fit easily in my pockets^^

That's exactly what I'm saying +1 sky :)
^ What is your objective with this thread? All your saying is let us use ISOs on our Go's? In that case there's nothing to discuss.. were you meant to add a poll or something?
look as l said before there are always pirates and hacker's and Sony doesn't find a reasons to make it easier for them to hack the psp GO! just to convince a few costumer's so yes their are a lot of necessary thing's for the PSP but you have to keep the consequences in mind Sony's not gonna risk themself's, except for discussing on something like this just wait for a while it's not even a year since the go has been released even if anyone mange's to make an Iso loader they are not gonna release it yet, so you either have to wait or you have to go and sell your psp go and buy an older psp, because l a personal don't think the psp go has much more to offer than the older psp's!

Someone is out for blood...
The objective of this thread is to simply see where everyones opinion is with hacking and enabling a feature as an iso loader for the go. But, wee are discussing or debating the fact that many devs always seem to say when it comes down to this "it'll ruin the game industry." How so? So that's why I'm asking for people to discuss why wee should or shouldn't enable an iso loader.
It all comes down to a simple yes or no for such support or depth of hacking to enable something like this. There's probably a lot of reasons why everyone feels an iso loader would be a great thing to have on the go and there are probably those who would think otherwise. I'm here for pro hacking of the go and custom firmware; sure a poll wouldve been nice, but I wanted to see why many people wanted such a thing not for the simple accusation of "piracy" the public usually gets.
Everyone is discussing their reasons for why they would think an iso loader or cfw would be great for the go; so what do you mean wee can have no discussion? The point of this thread is to simply see where everyone is standing and come to a conclusion; should the go be broken free with a kernel exploit that allows features such as this?
If you pay attention to the dev scene, there are a lot of comments about not enabling kernel access due to piracy.
Edit: added a poll.
^ Sorry if I came across the wrong way. I was under the assumption the majority of people on EP are in favor of the good things ISO Loaders bring. (So the discussion wouldn't continue because of the lack of people against it)
And I agree, one on the Go would be very beneficial for the console. [The real kick in the balls is the fact Sony developed NP9660 - the ISO Driver.. -.-]

well I've got to say you really got patience to write such long replay's
Heartless141 Wrote: [ -> ]yeah imagine the amount of money they put into making the game. i pirate too, but i buy games when it really deserves a buy,
same here.
and some nice points put foward tetris,i agree with you entierly, the go fails just because of those points you have mentioned, being limited to only being able to buy some games and rendering your UMDs usless if theres no way of being able to put them on. Sony should release something like a UMD ripper that's part of MediaGo or something, so games you own you can copy to MediaGo and then transfer to your GO or something, but have it so they assign only those games to your GOs system/barcode number or something so you can't copy them to other PSPGO. Yea even that may not work properly as people will try to find a way to exploit that. But something does need to be done to make them more usable and enjoyable.
