Another downside is it has a smaller screen than the original PSP.
But that in turn is also an upside because when I carry a PSP in my pants pocket, there's a giant bulge and it feels uncomfortable. I suppose the way around it is bigger pockets or shirt pockets.
yes your totally right specially the PSP 1000, it's like a brick in your pocket. when its in my pocket l can't bend down to tight my shoes or to put my sock's on
and l think the PSP LCD was a bit to wide anyway
In a Nutshell: Wee need ISO loaders to let us play the games wee can't get via PSN on the consoles wee buy - otherwise wee can't.
Fair enough but you shot yourself in the foot by buying one in the first place. You wouldn't be complaining if you had an older PSP that can play ISOs. And they have UMD drives too.
and I don't think this thread is gonna make anyone make an iso loader for you anyway you've got to go tell Sony to announce that they are not gonna make PSP2 for at least a year! or make them do something so that hacker's come to think PSP GO! is worth cracking!

Of course, but is this a solution to new hardware revisions of the system? to buy older revisions as a solution? If that was the case, then wee'd all be using iphone 2G's instead of 3G's out there; seriously, this is why people KEEP hacking things.
I shot myself in the foot, sure, but is that really the issue? no, because as things move forward, I'm only trying to stress the fact wee need to as well. So yes, i do feel like i have the right to "complain" now because i only want to see more from this system, i don't find a solution in devolution in the things i buy; hence my argument stands.
Seriously, this is a solution, but a dumb one for the future; admit it. >_>
This thread is
not about how wee can go around this issue with the go, but to discuss the improvements with what wee can do with it now. I'm not seeking help with finding something that can play iso's, i want the go to do that; which is really simple to understand why I'm making this thread to discuss said improvements and controversial ones as well.

Yes, this thread will do nothing to actually change the minds of others; I'm only DISCUSSING this with the community here, hence the "discuss" at the bottom. I'm only expecting a showing of opinions from our community here of what they think, not what this thread can do to change the scene of the go.
Then why not think of an alternative solution that Sony can achieve? They are responsible for the hardware as well as the software especially with the Go.
What about a Global PSN store?
What if Sony release a UMD drive reader for PC so legal disks can be verified with MediaGO and downloaded through PSN for your Go?
Unlikely yes.. but you shouldn't complain about hackers or lack of them, complain to the company responsible for creating that poo poo.
It may be unreasonable but your only option is older hardware if you want to achieve the things you want to achieve on the Go.
Besides the Half Byte Exploit has got pretty far.. I wouldn't be surprised if the Go ends up being hacked completely sooner or later.

simple question, who do you think would listen to a degree to do something; a hacker on a community forum or a customer service employee listening for the 1000th time to someone telling them how to make their system better. They are a company, hackers are a person, they have a lot less trouble compared to a company when it comes down to things like this.
So yes, I'm only "complaining" about something that the consumer can implement, but in no way am I critisizing hackers for their beliefs; I'm only asking for some to look at a different angle when it comes to the go.
This thread wasn't to say wee need moar hackers and they are lazy for not hacking this yet (this is very rude to think this, more so comment on it) but to convince or discuss as to why hacking it with a cfw isn't as bad as some people think. In all due respect, I only feel that you keep making this thread go off on a tangent; but thanks for the input all the same sensei. :)
well there's so many fishes in the sea, and you will become a boring pirate if you can't get what you want for free
so yar yar yar, buy old psp, then sell it to someone, i think iso loader will not come in reality for pspgo, lol

You wanted to discuss it ;)
Not reading everything, but I like piracy. It's what makes me buy the console in the first place. Otherwise, there's heaps of other things in this world to enjoy which isn't as costly, including borrowing library books for free, or even borrowing the stupid PC games that they have there for free...
Actually, I'll admit it to, I'm a pirate because well, I have no money and because I can't be bothered going out of my house just to buy a game, I suppose the PSN store is the solution to that problem.
