Yup, I'm in florida right now. Going to be here unt Tuesday to be a PowerPoint monkey. Today was setup, tomorrow reversal and power point changes and Monday is the show with awards ceremony in the evening.
Anyways, I'm nit paying the $15/ day for bullchocolate Internet cause I got an iPhone 3gs with mywi so I can have Internet on a computer anywhere.
Well at homE 3g = 3mb/s...here in the lands where old people go to die, 3g = 768kb/s
omg it's so slow...but not as slow as no Internet I guess.

What part of Florida you in? So much of Florida seems so wireless unfriendly. I always have trouble with finding towers in a lot of FL, and 3g is poo poo. This is just my experience in the northern tip all throughout the eastern part.
im using nokia n900 for 3g using it atm
i have softcap of 500mb a month currently used 9gb :D no complaints from vodafone
yeh my 3g sucks where i am im getting 200kb/s max
though everywhere else seems fine
don't get blitz fast 3.5g like america but still fast
I'm in Orlando. Makes me wonder if they do that because then people will pay in hotels lol... Or maybe it's just not as popular down here compared to Illinois so the network is old n busted.

Isn't Florida a bit hilly? That would explain it. Where I am in the hills of Wales not even the big-ish towns have 3g access. Occasionally the little icon will show up on my phone in the most random places such as a tunnel or in the bottom of a valley. But yet the mast that I live 200m away from has no 3G facility...
Think of how bad it is here!
