What is interesting is that any DVDs I bought (about 4-5), I never feel like watching those movies ever!

While the downloaded and on-the-disc movies are occasionally seen multiple times...

Hmmm...
Yeah, the unskippable ads and warnings are annoying.
Once in school my teacher couldn't get a DVD to work properly so wee had to sit through the unskippable ads and anti piracy warnings 5 times.

Brainwashing for the win.

Nice that your concerned for me, but during the time I just sat and laughed (not out loud) at the failure concept of unskippable ads and warnings.

your teacher must have been on the verge of /RAGE
I usually rent mine. But I do have a large collection of dvd's that i never ever watch, the value of these dvd's are probably a nickel each.

* 1-R makes pancakes with useless dvd's.
I should say that the Music DVDs I get are the DVDs I repeatedly get out. Ripping and Converting them takes too much time/not worth the end result and I like the booklets, idea of owning a physical version of it.

Yeah.. it seems I'd value my Music DVDs over almost all the DVDs I have.

Most notable being my X JAPAN DVDs..
who gives about quality of a pirate anyway..... you may get worse quality from a pirated film but hey, at least you'll save money.....
I will only buy a DVD if the movies is a 10 in my book.
So far the inky DVD that has been was "fear and loathing in las Vegas"
otherwise I'll buy some used DVDs for a couple bucks or just buy a bootleg. Or if I really want to I'll download it myself.

Hmmm heartless seemed to be a bit sour at assassinator...
  • Add to the above that stupid "would you 'borrow' a car?" ad (and to answer it, no, because I can't drive - makes stealing a car that much more difficult)
