debian ran auto update, so i let it go. i glanced at the window and saw that the update was downloading at 2111k/s
normally at home i only get 356k/s at the fastest
so i did a speed test to check this anomaly.
i love my schools internet.
coolz,. thing is with Linux updates though is that it keeps dropping and making connections [for different files]. If it just downloaded blocks of updates then a constant connection would be more efficient.
I haven't posted this yet.. my work connection..
Edit: My home connection is 'bout 16MB down and 0.36 up.
Spanish ISPs For the loss for up speeds... seriously..

Well I was going to share my speed test, but I have ATT internet and it is so chocolatety that the page won't even load.
Woot for my 1.5kB/s download speed with uTorrent (although upload speed is about 40kB/s :rage:).
EDIT: Got the speed test to work. Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on this sorry excuse for an internetz.
