well, let's say i know nothing about Win7 apart from the fact that it uses less resources.
what else should i know? mostly about customization. eg those docking things, is there a list or a guide to Win 7?
Lol, what do you want to know?
Windows is fairly user friendly, so fiddling around works.
Mostly it's just little things.
Browse a folder and check out the icons on the top right. Lets you change the view and add a preview pane.
Right click your desktop and click personalize, lets you pick the wallpaper and transparency.
Taskbar lets you pick icons to launch programs and manage them.
System tray works a little differently in that it can put everything into a sub-menu that you open up to manage the icons but you can set it to be like XP or Vista.
Apart from that it's the same as XP or Vista except things have been placed in different groups in control panel similar to Vista.
Well that's windows 7 for ya.
One feature I quite liked was right clicking on .iso files and having the option "burn to disc" makes your life a whole lot easier.
Here's what I use for customizing.
ObjectDock Plus
Rainmeter 1.1
WindowBlinds 7
Patched my UX files with deepxw's patch
IconPackager
hmmph interesting. i figured the folders and stuffs out.
so object dock is a 3rd party program?

yep... another one is RocketDock, as for which is better I dunno...
With OD Plus, you have the options to manage multiple docks and have tabbed docks.
is there any other useful tools like that?
and where can i find some anime ish or customisable gadget?
I use rainmeter and rocketdock.
I prefer default over everything though. -_-'
