Hi all :) Just back from my honeymoon :D :D
Anger: The tga is in the rar I uploaded in my first post. I don't have any other materials than that. I can tell you: I am on 3.40 OE, and I believe I used TGA Wave 0.9 studio (or was it 1.0 ?). Also, I was experimenting making a PS3 wave. that tga was made in Adobe Photo Shop CS2 9.0 . Hope this info was helpful :)

firstly welcome back.
i have made no progress trying to figure out exactly what you managed to get - the only thing i do know is its not in the tga that the glitch happens. what i was hoping you had was the copy of wave studio you used including the files because i think that's what caused the glitch to happen. extracting the tga from the file you provided just turns up the regular circle one and no matter what image i use it still appears the same. the only possibility is that i think its in the model for the wave that causes the glitch. hmmmmm maybe its the lack of a model that causes it. well anyway i can't do much more anyway. still interesting nonetheless.
Oh, how could I forget? I was also messing with different compression rates (when creating the tga in photo shop). Can't remember which settings I used, but maybe that had something to do with it....
Also, Wave Extractor actually works for you? It NEVER works (extracts tga from rco) for me. But maybe its b/c I'm on Vista... :(
This waves are cool but i don't want to use them lol.(nice job)
well the extractor doesn't like it when the headers are present - i delete the header and it always extracts the tga. i could also do it the manual way but i cba doing all that any more especially as someone made my life easier.
but i don't think the compression would cause this as the tga was the default one. i still say its a problem with one of the files that comes with the tga wave studio. it is most likely not working for you because your on vista. i can't understand the appeal of that pos operating system - it just consumes resources.

What do I erase with my hex editor in the rco to "erase the headers" ?
Also, your right about Vista, it SUCKS :P
I'm just stuck with it b/c you can't buy a new PC with XP on it anymore... :(
(at least I got the UMD Tools running on it now)
But yeah, anyone who has XP - stick with it. Nothing good will come out of updating to Vista... :(
the header for the bg file goes to 7ac hex and 1964 decimal (the first letter after that address is a small x - if its not then somethings wrong). i simply delete this then run it through rcotool to decompress it and what it spits out can then be loaded into tgawavecs. if you want to do the whole file by hand its a bit harder. your file is different somehow (t has several bytes extra so i suspect this is what is causing the glitch - perhaps the image start is being lost because of the extra bytes. im gonna mess about with adding those extra bytes into my own wave and see what happens.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO PUT THE FILES??????????????????????????????
w.......t............f........
ok went head and extracted the wave model out iand that is what casue the fudgeed up wave i supsesct it's just on the edge of not being displayed right...how ever your rco ... did have some instreding anmi data... i duno ... but it's in the model...
