I came up with the alternative for this...
Going to set up dual screen on my PC with the 32" HDTV and 19" monitor.
Now, imo 32" is way too big to be used for normal PC activities (dunno, though. Will give it a try) so may set it as secondary monitor. That allows me to watch full HD directly from my comp.
While playing PS3, all I need to do is to use the remote to change the input source to the HDMI and bang...
Simple and effective!

i already have this,. but i like the upscaler and other feauture's the PS3 got,. because i prob need a faster router the PC dual screen feature still works best,..
@nicodemus82 will try "TVersity media sever" today,. ;.)
Till I get a router (or extra PC Lan card), this is the only option I've got... :(
I've been meaning to exploit the upscaler too, but haven't had the chance yet.
That's exactly the media server I've been using for like a year now. Makes it so simple to stream.
I think this application rules!!!
Since I installed it I have been able to access my PC contents via my PS3,.. I play 1080i blueray rips with NO delay at all. Before I needed to convert some flicks, now I don't... look in the #-transcode-# or whatever it is called & the movie is in a temp type format for PS3, now I noticed if I watch any movies from within that folder there is a slight lag. Assuming because if converts as it plays or something? IDK? But I experience 0 lag on any HD or blueray rips... Maybe my router is nice ? Just a Linksys WRT54GS with speed boost
thanks again V1

i have't been able to play any movie yet :( PS3 keeps saying "data corrupted"
PS3 media server still does't play full hd fine :(
PS3 media server is easier to use then tversity,..
anyone know how to disable windows media server>?>?
weird..never had any problems myself

hehe,. must be me,. did try some different settings,. but tversity is't as plug and play as "ps3 media server"
but i guess i still need a faster router to play full/stream full hd,. ;p transcoding should't be a problem with a corei7.
